In fact, in the shallower water of many beaches, it&#8217;s almost too warm to properly cool you down! But once out in deeper water, the sea temperature of 26C creates truly heavenly conditions for swimming, snorkeling and all kinds of water-based sports.<\/p>\n<p>Tip: The midday sun is now intense to the point of dangerous. Take your factor 50 when you charter an Ibiza boat trip in high season, m\u2019hearties, particularly for sensitive areas such as the face &amp; tops of shoulders that burn easily. Decent sunglasses are a must at sea &amp; and regular hydration is super important. Especially if you&#8217;re partying and drinking alcohol &#8211; don&#8217;t forget to guzzle down plenty of water too.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ve got a big night ahead, right? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<h3>The best routes<\/h3>\n<p>During high season, you can choose to go almost anywhere around Ibiza &amp; Formentera on your private boat charter (and Formentera is always a good idea). Sundays in particular, are famous for this gathering and the beach gets absolutely packed out.<\/p>\n<p>Sunset at Benirras is almost a rite of passage for veteran visitors to Ibiza. If you haven&#8217;t seen sunset sink majestically behind the &#8216;Hand of God&#8217; to the sound of tribal drummers, you haven&#8217;t properly experienced the Bohemian\u00a0spirit of Ibiza.<\/p>\n<p>Getting to Benirras by road in high season is not straightforward. Access to beach parking is heavily restricted. Visitors must often leave their vehicles in a car park a couple of\u00a0kilometres away &amp; take the free (intermittent) shuttle that&#8217;s provided. It&#8217;s all a big faff.<\/p>\n<p>Not if you&#8217;ve chartered a private Ibiza boat trip though!<\/p>\n<p>Tip: ask your captain to drive you through the natural stone archway en route, jutting mysteriously out of the sea close to the Margarita Islands. Expect the finest DJs invited personally by Daddy Tong plus throngs of beautiful people having a ball.<\/p>\n<p>Tip: Don\u2019t forget your credit card. The sea is at its calmest, winds are light and boats are able to anchor there with the most ease at this time of year. It&#8217;s a short, exhilarating swim (or canoe ride, or paddle-board) from the boat, then an awkward scramble onto land. But oh boy, what a sight awaits you.<\/p>\n<p>Strange rock carvings, pagan symbols &amp; 2 warm, natural, turquoise lagoons combine to create a genuinely stunning &amp; mysterious landscape. The more adventurous can be seen jumping into the sea from the top of the cliff (although for safety reasons, we don&#8217;t recommend you try this &#8211; ahem).<\/p>\n<p>To top it all, Atlantis is right opposite Es Vedra. Mythical home of Tanit, ancient Carthaginian goddess of Ibiza &amp; location of hundreds of UFO sightings over the years. If you have a specific route in mind, then ask which restaurants you can choose from on that route.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>On the other hand, if you have a specific lunch destination in mind, then your route can be tailored around that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ibiza<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of lunch destinations, we highly recommend Elements at Benirras. Mouth-watering Mediterranean cuisine? Tick! On-site massage? Tick! Amazing views? Tick! Great ambience? Tick!<\/p>\n<p>This is upmarket, Bohemian Ibiza at it&#8217;s best. Lunching in swimwear is completely acceptable!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re visiting Formentera, then we say head over to Beso Beach. Whilst all of the beach restaurants around Formentera are very high quality, they can get extremely busy during high-season. We love how Beso beach manages to retain its chilled vibes even in the height of summer. Reasonable prices too!<\/p>\n<h3>Best beaches to visit by boat in high season<\/h3>\n<p>1. Beautiful Benirras, Ibiza \u2013 for a stylishly boho lunch at Elements &amp; hippie drumming vibes<br \/>\n2. Gorgeous Cala Xarraca, Ibiza \u2013 very difficult to reach by foot &amp; therefore nearly always semi-deserted &#8211; even in high season. Gasp in delight at the clearest crystal waters and enjoy the most incredible snorkeling.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0 Las Salinas \u2013 watch beautiful people dancing in the sand outside Sa Trinxa (from the best seats in the house) &amp; marvel at the abundance of marine life in this carefully protected natural park.<br \/>\n4.
